Is there a place in Heaven waiting for you?
Dear Friend:
Psalms 19:1 | The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalms 68:33 | To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
Psalms 148:4 | Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
Here I had the deepest desire to begin this piece with the praises of God, hailing Him as King and Lord above all! To you O Lord, be all majesty, dominion, power and glory forever! Amen.
It is so exciting to think of Heaven and the hope of going there. Yet, so many are so far away from the One who governs Heaven. He sets forth is guidelines as the way to enter and we turn away from them with the presumptuousness, that we will still be permitted, without hindrance, to enter.
A good and loving God seeks not to exclude anyone from His presence, but His holiness keeps sin and rebellion from entering.
Romans 3:20, 23-26 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin…For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood… through the forbearance of God… that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
It is true that we speak of heaven loosely: ‘Our loved ones are there’, ‘everyone will enter in’, ‘there is no heaven’, ‘heaven is here on earth’…the list goes on and on. With so many views and opinions, we can wind up leaving the most sacred thing of our souls ‘salvation’ up to chance.
In scripture, it says:
1 John 5:13 | These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Heaven is a real place.
John 14:2, 3 | In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
So, you see, neither illusion, blindness of eyes, ignorance of mind or share delusion can turn away that Heaven is real and is prepared for the righteous.
Revelation 21: 3-5 I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
Revelation 11:12 | And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Amen!
So, I ask, is there a place in Heaven waiting for you?
