The Captivating Love of God

Please find strength in this encouragement Dear Friend,

Let us take a moment away from everything and soak up some of God's love. It has its secret ways of strengthening and refreshing us. Remember when we first fell in love with Him? Yes, Him! His overwhelming love covers us and gave everything for us to live, so it's only fitting that we pause here and rest in it undisturbed for a while. It is truly the love that we can rely on. It goes on and on! Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Ephesians 2:4 - But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 1 John 4:9-10, 16, 18-19 - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins... And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him...There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love Him, because he first loved us Psalms 39:7 - And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope [is] in thee. Hebrews 6:10 - For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Jeremiah 3:13 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee. Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Having the love of a close friend or family member brings down walls and assure us that we have their trust. It is the same with God! Knowing God's love for us, how can we not trust Him? Rest in Him? It is refreshing to know that God's love for us is a gift and it goes on and on. We never should concern ourselves with Him ever changing his mind. James 1:17 tells us "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." It's refreshing and assuring to know that God's love is genuine and is freely given to us. We can find hope and strength in it as we live in this life. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.- Romans 15:13 Have a lovely day!
